The TODAY anchors, along with Jenna Bush Hager, chat about the hot topics of the day, including the struggling U.S. postal service's recent announcement that they will sell a new line of all-weather apparel and accessories called "Rain Heat & Snow."
Next time you brave snow or rain or gloom of night, you might want to don a parka from the U.S. Postal Service.
The cash-strapped Postal Service on Tuesday announced a licensing deal with an Ohio-based clothing company to produce a line of apparel dubbed “Rain Heat & Snow.”
Fashion apparel company Wahconah Group, based in Cleveland, will create a line of clothing and accessories for men, with future plans for a women’s line.
Earlier this month, the financially struggling Postal Service recently announced plans to end Saturday delivery of first-class mail and posted a $1.3 billion quarterly loss.

Hmmm...the USPS can't seem to manage the business of being the nations' mail carrier, so they think it's a good idea to get in the fashion industry?
What's to stop thugs and other unruly characters from using the clothing as a method of getting people to open doors to receive their mail? They could even get a (free) box to carry to look more authentic!
amazes me how misinformed people are, I hear people on here wanting to get rid of the post office...as a 24 yr employee letter carrier i have watched my route grow from 400 deliveries to just under a thousand deliveries daily all carried in approximately 6.5 hours..and that includes lunch...i dont agree with some the things that the postal service does either...but wanting it to dissolve...whoever would take over mail delivery is not going to take a letter from your doorstep...and delivery it clear across the country for less than 50 cents..i love my job but havent had a raise in quite a few yrs...no COLAs in a while either...even though everything has went up for all of us...a private company would charge a nice sum to deliver your letter....I think UPS charges about 13 dollars to deliver a large envelope?...quite a bit different than 46 cents , we do need to fix a lot of things here...get all of the crafts more efficient...i know from the public that it is embaressing to go to our windows...for mail...i wish the USPS would look into improving these areas, improving customer service in general...that is our job...I havent seen the clothing line either...but i do know some of the things that i buy for my job...are great in the weather...but not cheap...that is my two cents!!!
