Obama wins by landslide in 7-Eleven coffee cup survey

Courtesy 7-Eleven

Blue cups are more popular than red cups by a 60-40 margin.

To figure out whether President Barack Obama will win re-election, don't bother consulting costly scientific polls. Just check out the self-serve coffee at your local 7-Eleven convenience store.

As it has done in every presidential election since 2000, the convenience store chain is selling red and blue to-go coffee cups marked with the names of the major party candidates, as well as regular, unmarked cups for undecided voter in its "7-Election."

So far Obama is ahead nationally by a wide 60-40 margin, although more scientific polls have the national race as virtually a dead heat. In the closely contested swing state of Ohio, where both candidates are campaigning heavily this week, the coffee cup poll favors the incumbent 57 to 43, with undecided coffee drinkers excluded.

Even though the poll bills itself as "unabashedly unofficial and unscientific," it has accurately predicted the winners since it began in 2000. Not only that, the results have hewed within 1 percentage point of the final popular vote. In 2008, Sen. John McCain got 46 percent in the 7-Election and 45.7 percent in the real election, while Obama got 52 percent of the coffee cups and 52.9 percent of the actual votes. In 2004, President George W. Bush beat Sen. John Kerry in the 7-Election 51-49, compared with 50.7 to 48.3 in the real polls.

Likewise the chain's coffee cup sales had Bush beating Vice President Al Gore in 2000 by a percentage point, while U.S. voters put Gore ahead by 0.5 percentage point in the popular vote. Still, the 7-Election did better than many major media outlets, accurately calling the race for Bush, who ultimately won by Supreme Court decision.

Other cheeky polls also point to a second term for Obama. "Chia Obama," for example, is outselling its Romney Chia planter counterpart, and Obama Halloween masks are also outselling their Republican counterparts.

One reason for the 7-Eleven poll's accuracy could be its large sample set in the millions, compared with 1,000 to 2,000 adults in typical scientific polls. The 7-Election surveys have held up even though customers are allowed to "stuff the ballot box." Each cup purchase, even from the same customer, counts as a vote.

During the chain's Sept. 28 free coffee day, New York looked like a shoo-in for Obama, at least from the 42nd Street location in New York City's Times Square. "It was crazy," 23-year-old cashier Brian Moravec told NBC News. "I had a table stacked with all the cups and nine out of ten people went for the Obama cup." As for the Romney one, people were saying, "Don't even give me that cup," the cashier said.

So which cup does Moravec take? "The courtesy cup. I don't even have time to get into politics," he said with a laugh as he moved to ring up a lottery ticket for another customer.

Those political junkies who do have time to track the voting can rack the results at 7-Election.com for both national and state-by-state results.

Neither campaign's press offices responded to a request by NBC News for comment.

Are they that desperate to support Obama?

This wouldn't even be a small paragraph in any REAL news organization.

If you watch Fox or listen to Rush, you don't know what a real news organization is! Unless you consider manipulating film to make it look like someone said something they didn't, news! Fox distorts, lies and manipulates 24 hours a day, seven days a week!! At least Democrats will go on there and try to balance it!! Romney won't talk to ANYONE BUT Fox!! He can't answer questions put to him by real news people and Ryan just walks out when the questions get too hard. You obviously have never watched, or listened to REAL news!

@American Girl

How about Obummer start telling the truth about Libya? Obummer knew within 24 hours that the attack was a TERRORIST attack but continued on with a lie that the attack was caused by a video, even to the point of spending $70K in tv advertisement apologing for the video which only incited the middle east to protest against America and endangered more lives with his cover up. And to make matters even worst he stood before the U.N. and apologized even further, when he knew he was lying.. OBUMMER IS A FAILURE.

How about Obummer asking the defense industry to break the law and not give a 60 day lay off notice to it employees UNTIL AFTER THE ELECTION. More deceit by Obummer. OBUMMER IS A FAILURE The only job Obummer is worried about is his own, surely not the folks in the defense industry.

Obamas only offence is claiming everything is a lie. He certainly can't run on his failure to turn the economy around. The economy is on artificial life support due to Obama borrowing over 6 trillion dollars. The house of cards will come crashing down next year crushing Big Bird and the entire economy in it's path.

The problem with the men behind the conservative movement
and their flawed economic policies is that they are too busy trying to rewrite
history to learn from it. Throughout the history of the human race, no
civilization failed due to economic equality, none have failed because of
governmental spending on infrastructure and the overall health and wellbeing of
its citizenry. When civilizations fail it is due to the concentration of wealth
and resources in the hands of the few leaving the many to fight over the scraps.
They fail when income and wealth disparity becomes too large, when the gap
between the rich and the poor becomes too wide, when the haves continually take
without ever giving back to the society that made them wealthy. There has been
no precedence set for the conservatives claim that giving free education and
healthcare to the masses will bring the downfall of our society. On the
contrary, there has been a precedence set to prove without a shadow of a doubt
that a society which fails to provide for the health and education of its
masses will surely fail. There have been a few societies that were models of
equality that have failed, not due to the way their society was structered, but
because they were wiped out by empirical forces that conquered them and stole
their resources to feed the greed of their unequal society that itself
collapsed under its own weight further down the road. The conservatives are not
offering anything new, they are following the same destructive path that has
caused nearly every civilization to crumble throughout history. The definition
of insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over while expecting
different results each time. If we fall for the propaganda the rightwing is
spewing, if we give in to the temptation of greed, if we reach for the brass
ring while ignoring the plight of those less fortunate, we will surely become
one of the shortest lived empires in history. We must learn from humanities past
mistakes, before it is too late. One day soon mother earth will attempt to shake
us off her back like so many fleas off a dog. If we continue the path we are
on, the path of competition for greed’s sake rather than working towards
cooperation for humanities sake then we will surely be unprepared when the time
comes. We have so much potential to do so much good, and yet we are squandering
our most precious and rare resource, time, on the pursuit of individual fame
and fortune. Time is fleeting, we must wake up from this propaganda induced
trance before it is too late.

@IndependentinSD, #2.22, two years ago you say they didn't have a job. Now they do? Would that also coincide with Republicans getting the House? And how can you honestly say, with 6 trillion dollars in new debt, that we are better off than we were four years ago. And with a record of a net loss of over 200,000 jobs, only counting his own economic stimulus plans and taking into account the Senate (not the House) shot down the last one 99-0, what evidence do you bring that Obama's next job plan will not net another loss while not creating the gross that has been promised?

Here's the thing, Obama has no record to run on. He has no plan that will work for the better of America. Does Romney? Maybe, especially when you consider that during his tenure as Governor he worked with a Democrat legislature to blanace the budget and limit spending and keep taxes at a relative minimal and for those few years Massachusetts excelled, didn't it?

The only people robbing anyone right now is the Democrats in an effort to pay for the spending on enforcing their new regulations and keeping all the welfare systems afloat. So the real question is what do you want (deprogrammer this goes for you as well): do you want the taxes that ultimately come off of a Democrat controlled system to hit you hard in 2014 (because it won't be hitting lower or upper classes, remember the Democrats fall in the upper class) or would you like to see people fend for themselves and revive the sense of self-worth that America has clearly lost?

Romney left his successor to fill a budget deficit
        exceeding $1 billion.

        
Romney raised state fees and taxes more than $700 million per year, according to
        independent experts.

        
Romney raised fees by roughly $500 million in his first year alone, a figure
that was highest in the nation.

        
Romney quadrupled gun licensing fees and raised fees on first responders, real
estate transactions, the blind, golfers and many others.

        
Romney implemented three rounds of tax changes (which he referred to as “closing
loopholes”) which increased business taxes by an estimated $400 million per
        year.

        
Massachusetts’ corporate tax climate now ranks 47th in the nation, according to

@IndependentinSD, you didn't answer my question, Obama has LOST jobs in his term as president, not gained. Businesses are not hiring because of the costs Obamacare has brought to the table. So is your suggestion then throwing money at these businesses to cover the costs so they can hire? What about all the people who have to change their health care provider because of the new regulations set forth by Obamacare? Spend, spend, spend. I don't have to spin anything and I never said the Republicans passed any job creation bills, but what I did say is that unemployment was on a steep rise in two years of fully Democrat executive and legislature and has wavered since Republicans got in to stop the mindless SPENDing. You need only look at the current national debt numbers in comparison to when Obama actually took office in 2009 to see that.

FYI, Mitt Romney inherited a projected $3 billion deficit when he came in as Governor of Mass. Also, I thought the idea was you wanted businesses and the rich to pay their fair share. At the very least, people dealing in real estate and most people at those country clubs playing golf are generally considered rich, yes? And closing those loopholes means the businesses were also payng more I would think. And Mitt Romney hasn't been Governor of Mass for some time, just like he hadn't run Bain Capital for some time, so anything goin on now is out of Mitt's power, yes? So what was the point about Massachusetts' current corporate tax climate?

"When civilizations fail it is due to the concentration of wealth
and resources in the hands of the few leaving the many to fight over the scraps."

Ummm...no...in known world history almost ALL civilizations fail when they are conquered militarily by people or armies from other communities, tribal, ethnic, racial, or cultural civilization that are looking for riches, land, or other resources to support their own people.

European, Middle-eastern, Mediterranean, Asian, and even much of No. & So. American history. City states, empires, dynasties, etc. Almost all of them that no longer exist were conquered by another group of people that wanted their resources and they either killed them, assimilated them (effectively ending that civilization's identity), or sold them as slaves.

As far a why each and every one of the literally thousands of world civilizations in history failed and were conquered? It would also be irresponsible to make your generalization that all of them failed because property/wealth inequity weakened the state and then they were conquered. It is simply wrong.

In just Egypt alone with the dozens of dynasties that rose and fell...you are talking about an incredibly complex civilization with highly efficient bureaucracies, royal families, standing armies, powerful nobles, influential priest classes, & important artisian & building officials all playing differing levels of political dynamics throughout 4,000 years of history. One cannot even correctly apply your silly generalization to that single area of the globe, let alone all of world history.

Every 7-11 I have ever seen was in the Ghetto. So, Kinda awesome that 40% of food stamp recipients want that traitor out of the White House. And for the Dip 5hit up there saying Republicans are the ones rewriting history, Why don't you study the economics of the Roman Empire, SOCIALIST Germany, communist Russia and the changes China has made recently, by embracing Capitalism, that has allowed its economy to improve.

In Rome, Taxes increased several times immediately prior to finally collapsing, you were not allowed to own land and HUNDREDS of government construction projects were started in an attempt to repair the failing economy.

Repeat the exact scenario but add ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY to the not allowed to own list for Russia.

Germany literally eradicated those considered to be lower class. The Jews were seen as the slum of the community and killed off by the millions. It was a crime to not be employed and if convicted, you had to either join the German military or be sentenced to hard labor and paid a minimum wage. EVERY scientific achievement or technological advancement became the property of the state of Germany. In fact, some of the most famous scientific minds of history escaped German tyranny and defected to America and gladly contributed to the scientific advancement of the United States allowing America to produce the Atomic bomb before the Germans themselves. They were rewarded handsomely in both funding and status.

America's free market was the first of its kind in the world. We were the very first society to protect EVERY citizen instead of passing laws to protect the wealthy alone. We have ever so slowly reversed our government structure to that of precolonial England. Passing frivolous laws without thinking of the consequences and impact on the citizens and culture. Passing a law should be viewed as pulling the plug on a dying loved one. It should be a last resort when every other method has failed.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) voted to cut back on funds for embassy security. (AP Photo/J. Scott)

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) acknowledged on Wednesday that House Republicans had consciously voted to reduce the funds allocated to the State Department for embassy security since winning the majority in 2010.

On Wednesday morning, CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien asked the Utah Republican if he had "voted to cut the funding for embassy security."

"Absolutely," Chaffetz said. "Look we have to make priorities and choices in this country. We have…15,0000 contractors in Iraq. We have more than 6,000 contractors, a private army there, for President Obama, in Baghdad. And we’re talking about can we get two dozen or so people into Libya to help protect our forces. When you’re in tough economic times, you have to make difficult choices. You have to prioritize things.”

For the past two years, House Republicans have continued to deprioritize the security forces protecting State Department personnel around the world. In fiscal year 2011, lawmakers shaved $128 million off of the administration's request for embassy security funding. House Republicans drained off even more funds in fiscal year 2012 -- cutting back on the department's request by $331 million.

          Hey LiberalinSD,

cuts that only happened thanks to overwhelming support from House Democrats, including House Oversight Committee Ranking Democratic member Rep. Elijah Cummings. In fact, more House Democrats - 149 of them - voted for the cuts than did House Republicans, of which 147 voted for them.

One of the most amusing things about liberals is how they beg, scheme, yell, and finally vote to defund in portion of the military they can and when it goes bad...its all the republicans fault. The republicans try to compromise and this is what happens. They get blamed by idiots. It doesn't matter what the republicans vote for..its wrong in your idiotic ideology. If they DIDN'T vote for THE DEMOCRATIC INITIATIVE to defund embassy security, they would just be "stubborn republicans who refuse to cooperate or compromise". The harder republicans try to appease your dumb 4sses the more they get blamed. Go put your face back in the huff bag and let the people with common sense handle the big boy stuff.

Mittster tried sitting down with common folks a few months back and made fun of them for having 7 eleven store bought cookies there.....can't shut the hell up for a minute without looking down his nose on the middle class. All he had to do was listen, instead he ris those middle class people because they ate common cookies.....What a loser the clown is.

Dems support 7 Eleven and the middle class and poor!

You think Obummer is "in touch" with the common man? Only if the common man you refer to is an indited terrorist. That's who he sits down with. Bill Ayers, all the way up to several Muslem Brotherhood Co-conspirators...all wanting to kill YOU. Wake up you sheep before they come for your head.

Dems support 7 Eleven and the middle class and poor!

Only in disguise. They hide legislation and try to run it through without debate because it increases spending, increases the cost of gasoline, weakens progress in worker and environmental safety, and allows positions of oversight even with conflicts of interest. They hide stuff like this in jobs and veterans legislation.

That way, they can blame the Republicans for not passing this sort of stuff, knowing that they won't. It gives the Dems propaganda points and makes it look like they support the middle class, all the while burying the middle class and the poor.

How does increasing the cost of gasoline help the middle and poorer classes?

They then vote to fund abortion clinics so that they can eradicate the children of the poor. A number of times Democrats have tried to bring legislation through the floor that makes it mandatory for everyone 18 and over to serve in the military and/or do other mandatory national service. Kerry and Edwards ran on this same mandatory service platform. Nearly all Draft legislation ever passed has Democrat fingerprints and signatures all over it.

Democrats brought more Americans into wars than the Republicans have. This is a matter of history. Yet, the Democrats are so good at their propaganda that they have the public believing that the Republicans are "the party of war" and the source of the Draft and of Selective Service.

If you don't believe it, go and look very carefully at the legislation they try to push through and their procedural moves to try to push it through. If you read it carefully enough all the way through, and work to understand it clearly, and look carefully into the history of this country, your eyes will be opened.

Actually the coffee cup poll picked the winner in 2008 within one percentage point of the popular vote, closer than any other prediction. And in 2004 when it showed Bush leading Kerry, the coffee cup poll was embraced by the conservatives as "the perfect way to poll real Americans".

Do you call a plumber when your car breaks down??

Do you hire an accountant who advises to cure your money troubles you quit your second job and double spending? Romney bashes Obama on spending but supports cutting revenues 500 billion a year with tax cuts, increasing military spending 200 billion a year and spending hundreds of billions starting up a new space program. Explain how implementing the same policies that caused the collapse won't cause another. Reagan and GW both ran as fiscal conservatives vowing to cut spending at the same time they cut taxes. Reagan tripled the deficit and Bush doubled a much bigger one yet you people still buy the voodoo nonsense.

Mickey is right, the republicans are communists, the have embraced the color of communism. Lets look at other things the conservatives have in common with the communists. Lets see, the conservatives micromanaget peoples lifes, telling them which god they can worship, who they can sleep with, who they can marry and what books and movies are acceptable to read, that sounds just like the communists of the soviet union or north Korea. The conservatives want to put up a fence (wall) around our country, so did the communists. The communists let big business pollute at will, pay it's employees dirt, refused to let them organize to fight for better wages and working conditions, Hmmm sounds just like the conservatives. The communists spoon fed their media outlet daily talking point to keep their people in the dark, the conservatives are the least informed people in this country because their puppet masters spoon feed them propaganda through Fox news, a recent study showed that when ask 10 questions regarding current international and domestic affairs Fox veiwers could only answer one out of 10 correct, significantly less than someone who watched no news at all.

Mickey I think you are onto something, the communists have infiltrated our country and are disguised as conservatives, they are secretly trying to destroy our economy.

Seems no less valid than the pollsters that call my work phone at least once a day. It is automated, and states that there are only four questions. The first one is 'What is your gender? Press 1 for male, 2 for female.' I routinely try to press 2. It will repeat the question three times, will not accept 2 as an answer and then disconnects. Very valid polling there, since it will not accept information from a woman. At least 7-11 will let either gender's opinion count!

If you actually look at the website for the promotion it discounts a majority of the south and northwest (16 States total not included). By the way, those are the states that will likely go Romney's way.

Also, if you think only one news network is biased (FOX NEWS), then you are really kidding yourselves. The media is not independent, they are a corporation.

I have been to several 7-11's since the first day they started this and they have conveniently been "out" of Romney cups. Now if they were SOLD out, the polls would be the other directions so it would appear that they are not even being put out. Talk about stuffing the ballot box. My only goal is to get one of each as a collector item, which I have done since the first year they did it. Guess I'll need to look a little harder to complete my set. You know, there are a LOT of states that don't even have 7-11 so the opinions of those states could sway the poll, if it wasn't already fixed by being "out" of one of the cups. I do think it's quite interesting that the cup poll is almost dead on the actual election results.

And for those who think the story was not "newsworthy" PLEASE stop clicking on the links! You already know what the story was about by the headline "Obama in 7-eleven landslide" so if you think the poll is stupid news, then don't come here in the first place and then waste another 10 minutes of your precious life to post how lame it is. It's a waste of OUR time to have to sift through your crap.

Yes because successful businessmen like GW Bush and Jimmy Carter were such big hits while presidents like Reagan and Kennedy who never owned or ran a business sucked so much.

Since 1900, few former businessmen have made it to the Oval Office. The most prominent was the nation’s 31st president, Herbert Hoover, whose handling of the economy during the Great Depression cemented his reputation as a failure.

“Our greatest presidents, like Lincoln and FDR, were career politicians,” says Bruce Miroff, an expert on the presidency at the State University of New York in Albany.

The presidency’s unique requirements mean that everyone who holds the office needs some on-the-job training, something Romney has done before. Still, the White House would bring unfamiliar constraints. There’s no equivalent in the corporate world to the separation of powers that often thwarts a president’s will. And the job demands political savvy more than managerial excellence.

“Our entire system of government is meant to preclude models and skills used in the corporate world, which may be why presidents with business experience are not our most successful presidents,” says Barbara Perry, a senior fellow at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center.

Coming from a profit-centered environment where they enjoy unrivaled authority, executives often stumble amid politics’ fungible goals and multiple power centers, says Mickey Edwards, who served eight terms as a Republican congressman from Oklahoma. And compared with the iron logic of a balance sheet, the politician’s ability to read the public mood — an essential skill for governing — is amorphous.

“You have to like politics,” says former U.S. Representative William Frenzel, 83, a Minnesota Republican, who spent 20 years in Congress after a 16-year business career. “You can’t object to glad-handing. You can’t object to taking some abuse from people you have no reason to take abuse from.”

The late Richard Neustadt, author of the classic study “Presidential Power and the Modern Presidents,” rejected the analogy of the president as an all-powerful CEO, writing: “Presidential power is the power to persuade.”

George W. Bush was the first president with a master’s in business administration. His father, George H.W. Bush, made a fortune in oil before entering politics. In their pre-Oval Office days, Jimmy Carter ran a peanut farm and warehouse and Hoover was a wealthy mining executive and financier.

If you mean the Democrats in Congress who controlled the economy the last two years of the Bush Administration, then no.

Before the Democrats got control of the economy and budget of the US, Bush's last deficit was $168.2 billion in 2007. The very next year after Democrats had control of the economy and budget, deficits rose to over $1 trillion. This has continued each and every single year Obama has been in office.

This second term Americans have given Obama, projects budget deficits of $1 trillion for the first year, followed by between $500 billion and $700 billion each year of Obama's second term, consecutively.

Way to go, America! You voted for fiscal irresponsibility once again. Maybe the leaders among the Democrats/Tories are right. Maybe the general public really are too stupid to govern themselves.

Of course Obama won the 7-11 cup challenge. Do you think some filthy rich 1 % Romney supporter would walk into 7-11 and get himself a cup of coffee. No 7-11 is for the 47% Romney so eloquently and happily wrote off. Do not trust Romney, his agenda is for himself and his filthy rich buddies.

Do you think Romney talking with people at a 50K a plate fund raiser considers the right wingers who post here paying less in taxes a year than he does for a haircut one of them? Romney doesn't represent you or consider you any more a contributor than he does the old lady living on social security paying nothing.

What is that, cutting corporate taxes so that America can compete in the global economy the liberals keep telling me about. America's corporations pay the most in taxes of any country. No wonder jobs are being shipped overseas. I guess that is why my tax dollars, in the form of stimulus, is paying for a new GM plant to be built in Mexico, or for GE to start making light bulbs in China while closing a plant in GA. Yes, this has happened under Obama. I guess that makes him the outsourcer in chief.

Doesn't surprise me it as it is probably government workers and the teamsters buying 7-elevn coffee. And who owns the 7elevens.

You have blinders on. If R&R are elected, the common people will learn what "hurting" actually is. Did you not hear his 47% speech? Do you only watch FOX? Branch out...see the real world. Romney will do nothing good for anybody unless they are already rich.

Another Demo telling people what to do and think. Do you really think that the 47% Romney was speaking about are the common people. I guess if it is common to live off of others then you could be right. I remember when we didn't care about who was poor, middle-class or wealthy. We minded our own business, went to work, and didn't discuss our vote with people we didn't know. It wasn't until this administration that hate and vial comments were the norm. With that said your posts are part of free speech, buying coffee at 7-11 is also part of our free world, and I thank you for posting this article. I will continue getting my coffee at Starbucks since MSNBC seems to be sponsoring such idiot non enlighting news. Back to Fox to learn about real things, LIBYA.

I acidentally bought an Obama coffee cup the other morning at 7-11. I went ahead and drank the coffee, and then stepped behind a brick wall, and refilled the cup with a "filered" version of the brew that I had just rented a few minutes before. I know some loyal Obama fan who had nothing would certainly come by and take advantage of the "free, entitlement" coffee I left sitting on the wall. The cup is gone, so I guess they did.

Don, if the cup was gone, it's probably because the workers there, actually doing their jobs, regularly check the fronts for litter and probably had to toss it in the trash. Aside from just being plain nasty, I wonder how many diseases they were exposed to because of your idiocy because if you were infected with Hepatitis or AIDS, even if you didn't know, and willfully exposed others to it, you could be brought up on charges, if caught. There is precedent set for this so think about that next time you decide to distribute your contaminated bodily fluids amongst the unsuspecting public.

Not true but if Romney wins all the jobs will pay as if they were 7-11 jobs. Romney wants to eliminate caps on H1B visa's so more highly educated foreigners can be employed here. He also wants to import 1,250,000 high tech jobs claiming a shortage despite unemployment numbers showing the unemployment rate is double what it was prior to the meltdown. Both these policies will put pressure on the highest paying professional jobs who either accept lower wages or they'll simply bring in workers from India, China and elsewhere. If you doubt these policies google Romney 59 point plan. More Doctors, Dentists, Lawyers, Engineers and others from China according to Romney will create support jobs for Americans. Like selling them big macs.

Your argument, sir, is a classic example of when logic fails. Your argument is that Obama supporters who take advntage of Free Coffee day are only looking for handouts. However, out of every 100 cups, 40 were for Romney. If everyone looking for a handout is an Obama supporter, shouldn't 7-11 have observed a 100% response for Obama instead of a simple majority? Your argument also leads one to think that ALL participants in this experiment are those "looking for handouts," including Romney supporters. If you just make yourself think for a few minutes before you post, you'll be able to present a more logical argument in the future.

Like these right wing supporters on here who thinks Romney considers them one like him because they pay income taxes even though they pay less than he does on a haircut. When you can attend one of his $50,000 fund raisers without batting an eye at the cost you'll be like him until then your meager taxes paid make you no more a member of his club than a pan handler.

There has been a HUGE COVER-UP on the embassy attack that killed four Americans and NBC does not make it a top headline? They just did a small video. I guess a story about the idiots (and they are idiots) buying coffee at a 7-eleven and who they will vote for is more important than the incompetence of this administration and its cover-up of this disaster. Shame on NBC.
