Obama is sleeping behind the wheel. Something needs to be done with the banks who own many foreclosed homes. These homes set idle and empty just a magnet for crime. We need a bill that makes bank to consider any bid that comes forth and give first priority to first time home buyers. I tried in 2008 to buy foreclosed homes without success. Banks could take their time in considering your bid, and many were requesting $5,000 earnest money. I got tired of the search and settled to buy a new home. I believe first time home buyers should be given first priority, investor are just adding to the problems that foreclosed homes do. There is nothing worst than an absentee homeowner.
